EBA is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit agency devoted to youth and young adult programming, ages 12 - 21 years of age. The primary mission of EBA is to "..deliver leadership, wilderness preservation, and interpersonal skill development programs, to assist in preparing area youth for employment and community service opportunities." EBA is working with local business and other non-profit organizations to provide programs for the greater Rockford, Freeport, and Chicago areas. Some programs that have been offered include:

In the past, EBA has provided discounted or free programs for the Rockford Boys & Girls Club, Rockford Park District, Freeport Park District, Highland Community College, Freeport Police Department, Harlem Board of Education, Lutheran Outdoor Ministries Center, The Mill and Maryville Academy.

EBA staff have a combined total of over 30 years of youth program experience.

We wish to extend area business and individuals an invitation to assist us in our mission. Your tax deductible donation will help EBA continue to provide reduced fee services for year 2002 and 2003. Any and all support would be greatly appreciated. A donation of $20, $40, $50, or $100 would allow more services to be offered.

As we look to the future, we have dreams of land acquisition, which would allow us to provide more regular programs to area youth. We are eager to develop an team building facility, which would be multifaceted, serving youth, non-profit organizations and families. Your generous gift would be set aside for that sole purpose.

If you wish to secure specific gifts for facilites, we would welcome land donations, leases, or other items on our wish list, such as a portable climbing wall which may be transported to local area schools and clubs ($29,000).

EBA currently is funded via fees and charges. These funds are enough to secure a continued future for EBA, however, not enough to allow us to expand, reach our vision, and touch many more young adults' lives. Any and all gifts would be met with sincere appreciation.
